About Adam

My name is Adam Seigler, and I'm an artist and artisan. I'm best known as a carpenter and woodworker, and I've been chasing my master craftsman badge for over twenty years.
I started out helping my dad with projects around our five acres on Johns Island. When it was time to start the workday, he'd grab his big leather toolbelt and strap it around his waist. That meant it was time to get to work, and I thought that was so cool.
Bob Seigler has been my boss for most of my career, and he still mentors me to this day. He's known as the best carpenter in the Lowcountry, and I learned everything I know about carpentry by watching him work. I'm still amazed when he sends me pictures of his projects today.
The scope of every job is a mixture of my client's concept and my own. I view building through the eyes of an artist, and what makes each project special is my ability to adapt as it comes together.
I love black walnut, but teak has recently become my new favorite wood to work with. I'm patient with my process and meticulous when it comes to finish work. Everything must be perfect.
I'd describe my work as rustic, infused with a farmhouse kind of vibe.
